Which product should I choose?

All our products are made from the same high-quality material. The difference isn't in function, but in shape and size. We've pre-cut the material for various applications and users, so you can use it immediately and easily. On our website, you'll find an overview of products filtered by user. or plaster type . This can help you quickly see which products are most suitable for your use.

If you need the product for a single, specific application, a pre-cut version is often the most practical. If you want to use the product for multiple purposes, you can also choose a version that you can cut to size yourself. This way, you can easily tailor the material to your needs.

We also offer sets in different sizes, for example, for runners or walkers. These sets are composed of different variations so you always have the right size on hand.

How do I use Reskin?

Reskin is designed to protect delicate skin and prevent chafing and blisters. For best results, we recommend using the product before any symptoms arise.

Already have a blister or chafed area? No worries. Reskin also provides immediate relief and protection and is safe to use on an open wound. Please note that for hygiene reasons, using it on an open wound will void its reusability.

Some practical tips for use:

  • Always apply Reskin to clean, dry, and oil-free skin. The product doesn't stick to hair or itself.
  • For optimal protection, it is important to apply Reskin generously so that the affected area is well covered.
  • Reskin is reusable as long as the silicone layer remains in good condition. After use, gently wash the product with water and mild soap and let it dry, as described in the instructions on the product page.

On every product page and inside each package, you'll find comprehensive instructions with images explaining step-by-step how to best apply Reskin.

How many times can I reuse Reskin?

Reskin is reusable, as long as the silicone layer remains in good condition. How often you can reuse Reskin depends on factors such as:

  • the place on the body where you use it
  • your skin type (for example, drier or oilier)
  • how intensively the product is used
  • how carefully it is cleaned and stored

After use, you can wash Reskin with water (and mild soap, if necessary) and let it dry on a flat surface or on its protective layer. This will keep the material in good condition for as long as possible.

If you use Reskin on an open wound, the reusability is lost for hygiene reasons, and we recommend not reusing the product after use.

Once the silicone layer starts to adhere less well or shows signs of wear, it is time to replace Reskin.

Why is my plaster coming off?

There can be several reasons why a plaster doesn't adhere well or comes loose. In most cases, this can be easily explained and prevented.

Below you will find the most common causes:

The skin is not completely clean or free of grease
Residue from cream, oil, or sweat can affect the adhesive strength of the plaster. Keep in mind that oils from creams penetrate the skin and remain there for a long time. A previously applied cream can affect adhesion for up to several days.

Specifically for cyclists
If you use chamois cream or bib grease, it's important to know that this grease remains in the skin and the cycling shorts for a long time. Even if you apply the patch later, it can affect adhesion. Therefore, make sure your skin is thoroughly cleansed and your cycling shorts are thoroughly washed to remove any traces of bib grease before using Reskin.

The skin is naturally a little oily
The plaster may not adhere as long to some skin types, especially in warm weather or during intensive exercise.

Lots of movement or friction
With intensive use or in places with a lot of friction, the silicone layer can wear out faster, causing the plaster to come loose sooner.

The patch has already been used several times
After multiple reuses, the silicone layer may adhere less well. In that case, it's time to use a new piece.

The patch is applied too small
For optimal protection, it's important to apply the plaster generously so the edges adhere well. If you're cutting the plaster to size yourself, make sure the edges are nicely rounded to prevent rolling.

Apply to hair
Reskin doesn't adhere to hair or itself. For good adhesion, it's important that the skin is hair-free. Sometimes it's necessary to shave hairy areas.

Can I also use Reskin on an open wound?

Yes, Reskin is safe to use on an open wound. It provides immediate protection and relief and helps protect the delicate skin from chafing and further irritation.

Please note that when used on an open wound, the reusability is lost for hygiene reasons . We therefore recommend not reusing Reskin after use.

Always ensure the skin and wound are clean before applying Reskin and follow the instructions for use on the product page.

Ordering and shipping

What are the shipping costs?

Our orders are shipped sustainably via PostNL letter mail. Therefore, you usually won't receive a track & trace code. Larger or heavier orders are usually shipped with track & trace.

Shipping costs per country:

Netherlands: €3.95
Belgium: €5.75
Other EU countries: €12.50 (including track & trace)
Outside the EU (international): €20.00 (including track & trace)

Within the Netherlands for orders over €50
For B2B orders: free shipping from €200 within the Netherlands and Belgium

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay for your order safely and easily using the following payment methods:

  • On invoice (only for B2B)

After completing the payment, your order will be processed immediately.

Pay via bank deposit

If you choose bank deposit, you'll receive a payment request by email. You can also choose to transfer the payment manually.

Important to know:

  • Please include your name, order number and order date when making your payment to avoid delays.
  • Your order will only be shipped after payment has been received.
  • If payment is not received within 14 calendar days, the order will be automatically cancelled.

We deliberately do not offer the option of paying afterwards.

Is a Track & Trace code available?

Because we ship our orders sustainably via PostNL letter post, you usually do not receive a track & trace code for orders within the Netherlands and Belgium.

For larger or heavier orders, shipping can be done with track & trace. In that case, you'll automatically receive the track & trace code by email as soon as your order has been shipped. You can also find the track & trace code by logging in to your account.

For shipments to other EU countries (except the Netherlands and Belgium) and for international shipments outside the EU, your order will always be shipped with track & trace.

If you haven't received your order after the expected delivery time, please feel free to contact us, and we'll look into it for you.

When will I receive my order?

If you order on a working day before 7:00 PM, your order will be shipped the next day.

Delivery then depends on the postal services. In most cases, the following delivery times apply:

  • Netherlands: approx. 2–4 working days
  • Belgium: approx. 3–5 working days

Orders that are shipped with track & trace (such as larger orders or shipments outside the Netherlands and Belgium) generally have the same delivery times, but can be tracked via the track & trace code that you receive by email or can view in your personal account.

International orders may take longer to arrive than the delivery times listed above. Actual delivery times depend heavily on the destination country.

Please note that we are dependent on postal services. Especially during peak periods, delivery may sometimes take longer than indicated.

If you haven't received your order after the expected delivery time, please feel free to contact us, and we'll look into it for you.

Where can I find the status of my order?

You'll be automatically updated by email on your order status. You'll receive:

  • an order confirmation once your order has been placed
  • when paying by bank deposit: an email with a payment request and a confirmation once the payment has been received
  • a message when your order has been shipped, possibly with shipping details and track & trace code
  • an email after receipt in which we ask whether you are satisfied with our products

You can also always check the status of your order in your personal account. Log in and go to 'Orders' to view the current status.

Can I cancel my order?

Want to cancel your order? Please contact us as soon as possible, and we'll see what we can do.

Once you have received an order confirmation, it is not always possible to change or cancel the order, as the packing and shipping process may already have started.

If cancellation is no longer possible, you can return the products after receipt, provided they are unopened and in their original packaging. You can return them within 30 days of receiving your order. In that case, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Returns

How can I return my order?

You can return your order within 30 days of receipt. We ask that you always contact us first to register your return. This way, we can process your return correctly and quickly.

After registering, you will receive return instructions from us and after receipt and inspection of the return shipment, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days via the original payment method.

Important to know:

  • Returns are possible within 30 days after receipt
  • Return costs are at your own expense
  • Products must be returned unopened and in the original packaging.
  • We cannot process returns without prior notification.

Did you receive the wrong item or is there something wrong with your order? Please contact us, and we'll find a suitable solution.

How long does it take to get my money back after I return my order?

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days via the original payment method.

Please note that processing times may vary depending on your payment method. In most cases, the refund will be returned to your account within a few business days of the refund.

If you haven't received your refund after 14 days, please contact us and we'll be happy to look into it for you.

I received the wrong item, what now?

If you received the wrong item, we're very sorry and would like to resolve it for you. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order so we can resolve this as quickly and efficiently as possible.

After you report your purchase, we'll send you further instructions for returning it. Return shipping is free in this case.

Once we have received the incorrect item, we will, in consultation with you, ensure:

  • sending the correct article, or
  • a refund of the purchase amount
What guarantee do you offer?

We fully stand behind our products. You can therefore expect the product to meet the product description and perform as expected under normal use.

If a product is not in good condition upon delivery or does not meet your expectations, please contact us. We will work with you to find a suitable solution, such as:

  • replacement of the product, or
  • (partial) refund of the purchase amount

Any additional guarantees from the manufacturer or supplier do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Damage caused by misuse or normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.

I have a complaint, what do I do now?

We're very sorry to hear this, and we'd like to help you resolve it. Please contact us and describe your complaint as clearly as possible.

The best way to submit your complaint is by email to info@reskin-xl.nl or via the contact form on our website.

We take every complaint seriously and aim to respond to your complaint within 14 days of receipt. If it takes longer to process your complaint, we will of course let you know.

Our goal is always to find a suitable solution together.
