Material
Perforated Lycra®

The top layer of the Reskin plaster consists of specially perforated Lycra®, which contributes to a number of unique properties of the product.

Lycra® offers exceptional elasticity and can be stretched up to 5–7 times its original length without tearing. This elasticity allows the product to fit seamlessly against the skin. The material also retains its shape and always returns to its original shape, guaranteeing a consistent fit. Lycra® is lightweight, durable, quick-drying, and moisture-resistant. Despite its thin structure, Lycra® is strong and durable, yet absorbs minimal moisture, remaining hygienic and comfortable. Perforation allows the skin to breathe, while the material provides sufficient protection against external dirt.

Medical Grade Polymer Gel

The adhesive layer of the Reskin plaster consists of a Medical Grade Polymer Gel based on silicone.

This gel is self-adhesive, yet soft and flexible. This allows for painless removal without damaging the skin, even in the most sensitive areas of the body. The gel is skin-friendly and hypoallergenic, minimizing the risk of irritation or allergic reactions. Furthermore, the gel supports the skin's natural healing process and forms a barrier against dirt and external influences. The gel maintains its adhesive strength with repeated use and washing, making the plaster durable and reusable.

    User tips

    Use Reskin preventatively

Reskin is designed to protect delicate skin and prevent blisters. Therefore, it is best to use the product
    before complaints arise.

Do you already have a blister or chafing?

Don't worry. Reskin provides immediate relief and protection and is safe to use on an open wound.

Please note: for open wounds the reusable function is no longer applicable for hygiene reasons.

    Reskin is reusable

Do not throw away Reskin after use!

You can easily wash it off with water and, if desired, a mild soap. Then let it dry on a flat surface. Once dry, you can immediately reapply it to your skin.

Apply Reskin to clean, dry skin

The silicone gel is self-adhesive and
adheres best to clean and dry skin. Therefore, avoid using
creams, body lotion or other skin products before applying Reskin.

Reskin does not adhere to hair or itself

If you want to use Reskin on a hairy body part, make sure the area around it is shaved. The product doesn't adhere well to hairy skin, nor does it adhere to itself. Therefore, always start and end on the skin.

Apply Reskin generously for optimal protection

Make sure the area where the friction is occurring or where the skin is affected falls in the center of the patch. Use a generous amount, as patches that are too small can peel or roll up at the edges. You can easily trim Reskin to size yourself with sharp scissors. Round the corners for best results.
